We will continue our exploration of the city the next day, and today we will go to West Virginia. We will pass the picturesque Villing - a city with an interesting history, and go high into the mountains - to the Golden Palace and the Hindu temple. We will climb higher and higher into the mountains - and suddenly the golden domes of the palace will shine in the sky before our eyes. Amazing stained-glass windows, splendor and richness of the palace-temple and its amazing history will not leave anyone indifferent.
Sightseeing tour of Pittsburgh, picturesquely located on the hills at the confluence of three rivers ("Golden Triangle"). The former Capital of Iron and Steel is currently experiencing a real renaissance, turning it into one of the most beautiful cities in America.
The tour includes an ascent to the Observation Slopes with magnificent city panoramas. The Carnegie Center, in the University Zone, is a spectacular expression of the city's artistic potential. Nearby is the 42-story "Cathedral of Knowledge", the tallest university building in the Western Hemisphere. There is also the Gothic Heinz Memorial Chapel, which perfectly complements the entire scientific and cultural complex of Pittsburgh. Visit to the wonderful museum of music boxes and old jukeboxes.
The tour continues 72 miles from the city, home to one of the most significant structures of the 20th century, the "Falling House", "Kaufman House" by the genius Frank Lloyd Wright, America's greatest architect. The building is considered a true architectural gem. The vast country house is so organically inscribed in the waterfall at the now famous Bear Creek that it clearly demonstrates the possibilities of the ideal coexistence of man and technology with the natural environment. This is how the idea of ancient Arcadia, medieval Utopia and other romantic thoughts of mankind is embodied.
